![]() ![]() Story, the voice acting on WoTH is not my cup of tea at all but the story is okay. Immersivity would go to WoTH because I'm enjoying the two starter reservations more than early maps in Call of The Wild and there's a lot more exploration and meaningful landmarks. Fun, technical bugs impact the fun in WotH but I've had some fun so far, in terms of base game I'd say WoTH wins out on fun. ![]() Graphics aren't optimized properly so I can't say. It's a little too early for me to tell because I don't think Way of The Hunter is even near it's full potential and feels like early access on console but so far: But I've found them to be buggier than they should be. ![]() Story/lore: WotH I kinda prefer the CotW approach of a silent 'protagonist' and minimal missions. ![]() And CotW can be pretty rough for grinding at time for progression in a way I haven't felt in WotH (although ymmv if you grind out perks) the CotW input controls, inventor, and UI feels slicker and easier to use, but I can excuse most of the WotH clunkiness as being aligned with the game's immersion goals. Immersion: WotH imo after a few hours of getting comfortable with the game, CoTW devolves into a shooting gallery, as you bounce around between good spots and set ups in a way that hasn't happened for me yet in WoTH Been playing CotW for a few months, and been playing about 2/3WotH, 1/3CotW since WotH came out. Graphics: Both are technically good, but CoTW is generally prettierįun: Tied. My opinion for each of the categories your asking about: ![]()
